“Life Can Be Like the Movies” – Chaplin (2006)   Music and Lyrics: Christopher Curtis

In 2012, two separate musicals entitled Chaplin played, one in London and one in New York, and both were about iconic star Charlie Chaplin.  Chaplin loved to pretend and was highly opinionated, so he co-founded film studio United Artists on this day in 1919 in order to have more creative control over projects, proving that life can be like the movies.  The first song listed is from the London Chaplin and is used as a motif that is reprised throughout the show.  The second song is from the Broadway Chaplin.
